Hugo Oliveira reveals behind-the-scenes secret: “People need to know this!”

The Married at First Sight finale was broadcast live last Sunday, June 29. Many revelations were made about the couples, but also about what goes on behind the scenes of the program.

Hugo Oliveira was on the Red Carpet and admitted that he was 'forced' to stay in the experience.

“I had to live the experience knowing that I was not going to be part of Raquel’s life on an emotional level,” he began by saying. “I had to live it all, because I can’t leave the experience,” he confessed.

The ex-fiancé repeated, in order to make it very clear: “People have to know this! Hugo cannot leave the experiment on his own initiative. He will only leave when Raquel leaves.”

And he also explained: “I had several meetings with the management, I said 'I'm not here to do anything else. The purpose is to live a love life', but no…”
